The need for a vision

As Kenya’s young people and alternative leadership the team came together and prepared a proposal for a vision for Kenya that confronts the challenges listed above we are currently faced with.

It is a proposal that derives from a group that comprises the majority of the population. As many of the team ascend to positions of decision-making, they have committed to working together with other Kenyans to bring the vision to reality. The team members have committed themselves and resources at their disposition to confronting the 14 challenges listed above.

This proposal of a vision is therefore presented as demonstration that Kenya’s young people will commit themselves to:

  • The creation of a united nation; ensuring a confident Kenyan society infused with strong ethical values;
  • The development of a society that is democratic, tolerant, caring and economically just;
  • The development of a prosperous nation, progressing and in full possession of an economy that is competitive, dynamic, robust and resilient;
  • Managing our resources for the benefit of present and future generations of Kenyans and that Kenya will take her place in the community of nations with pride, responsibility and contribute to uplifting the status of Africa, our continent.
